June 4, 2017 Good thing we are still on California time.  It's working in our favor.  No need to set the alarm clock, we automatically wake up at the crack of dawn.   First on the agenda this morning is Sunday Church service.  The local Catholic Church was 3 miles away.  The church was small and most of the congregation were tourists.  It was very open with huge sliding doors on both sides of the church that allow the breeze to come in to cool us down.  At the end of the service the priest asked all the June birthdays to come up for a blessing.  Of course Mikey didn't hesitate and walked right up. June 3, 2017 What is the state bird for Hawaii?  Is it the chicken/rooster?  They are everywhere!!!  I didn't recall seeing them the last time we were here.  Well...there's a lot of talk about how delicious free range chickens are.  Temptations...but they are safe around us.  But if they continue to wake us up every morning at 5:00 am with their cock-a-doo-a-dos... Almost 2 dozen eggs are cooked for breakfast.  Uncle Moses makes the best scrambled eggs.  We were looking to find where the chickens were laying their eggs but were unsuccessful (we weren't looking that hard). The best Shaved Ice place in town is The Wishing Well...I will be the judge of that!  My review:  It's good but I had much better.  Extra points for having natural flavoring and for having Matcha.
